UNISUS in Summerland, British Columbia, is a Pre-K–12 co-educational IB World School offering day and boarding. Summerland is a safe, vibrant community about 3.5 hours from Vancouver and 45 minutes from Kelowna, with outdoor recreation nearby. The campus sits on a gated 17‑acre site surrounded by orchards and vineyards, close to nature and local amenities.

For Grade 6–7, the daily schedule runs 8:20am–3:30pm with a lunch break 12:50pm–1:30pm. Mondays feature assemblies (parents welcome), Tuesdays–Thursdays include enrichment, and Fridays have early dismissal at 3:30pm; 3:30–4:30pm is set aside for enrichment on select days.
Annual tuition at UNISUS School ranges from CAD 13,600 to CAD 64,320 for 2026/27.

The school uses English as the main language of instruction, with an English Language Learning (ELL) program to support non‑native English speakers. ELL includes English in the mainstream with differentiated classrooms, language acquisition activities, language extension, and immersion opportunities, and the program uses the WIDA system to assess language proficiency.
1. Rolling admissions are accepted throughout the school year, with main intakes in September and January.
2. Book a Visit: Schedule an in-person or virtual consultation by contacting the admissions team.
3. Complete Application: Submit an online application and pay a 250 CDN application fee.
4. Provide Supporting Documents: Upload requested documents, including copies of the latest report cards and the final report card from the last two years, and a copy of the passport or birth certificate.
5. Interview and Assessment: Complete a Literacy and Numeracy Assessment with IXL and participate in a parent and/or student interview.
6. Receive Enrollment Notification: The admissions team will email the admission decision within 7 days of the assessments; if the grade level is full, successful candidates will be placed in the wait pool.
Merit Scholarship: Up to 8,000 CDN; Leadership Scholarship: Up to 3,000 CDN; Scholar-Athlete Scholarship: Up to 5,000 CDN. Candidates are globally minded and should demonstrate leadership, service, and other relevant talents. Applicants should be able to express ideas in English and at least one other language (international applicants).
Application steps for scholarships: 1) Complete the UNISUS Merit, Leadership, or Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Application Form; 2) Complete the Admissions Application and submit two previous end-of-year report cards plus one current report and a confidential character reference; 3) Submit the Scholarship Application to admissions@unisus.ca.
Languages and bilingual opportunities: English language learning is supported for non-native speakers; Spanish is the second language taught, with French and Mandarin options (Pamoja platform in Grades 11-12; additional cost); a bilingual IB Diploma is possible when taking a self-study Language Literature course in a first language such as German, Japanese, or French.
If the grade level is full, successful candidates will be placed in the wait pool.
