Colégio Alemán de San Felipe is a German international school located on the slopes of Cerro El Peñón in the Panquehue commune, near the Valle de Aconcagua. The campus features 1,100 m² of specialist classrooms for English, German and mathematics, plus a library, computer room, science laboratory, music room, theatre, dining hall, and an indoor gym with two volleyball courts and a grass field with an athletics track. The school offers Early Childhood Education starting with Spielgruppe at age 3, with a person-centered pedagogy that partners with families to build habits, autonomy and social skills, and to introduce German as a second language from early on. From 1st to 6th grade, the national curriculum is implemented, with German taught for about six hours per week and English for about three hours per week, and four hours of Physical Education weekly, alongside sport academies and team activities. From 7th grade to the first year of secondary, students prepare to enter the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in 2nd year, making it a pioneer in the Valle. The school is private, German, and abroad recognized by Germany; it's a member of the Association of German Schools in Chile and emphasizes intercultural competence and German culture in a multicultural community.

From Pre-Kinder to Grade 12, March 3–6 schedules are 08:00–13:00 for Pre-Kinder and Kinder, and 13:05 for 1st Grade to Grade 12.

English is taught in addition to German, starting in the second year of Basic Education, with 2 hours per week, and continuing through the fourth year of Upper Secondary, totaling 4 hours per week. The program includes preparation for Cambridge ESOL exams (KET and PET, optional; 1st Certificate, optional; CAE, optional) with funding borne by guardians. The school has been a Cambridge Preparation Exam Centre, certifying official Cambridge exam preparation until 2023. Exchange is in the process of reformulation.
The Convivencia Educativa program supports mental wellbeing by promoting a respectful and inclusive school climate and facilitating students' social and emotional development. The team includes a psychologist and convivencia coordinators who work with students across grade levels.
The School Safety Committee coordinates safeguarding and school safety. It includes members such as a teacher, a risk prevention advisor, an inspector, the administrative director, the nurse, a student representative, and a parent representative. There are an Emergency Protocol for earthquakes and evacuation maps and a Plan Integral de Seguridad Escolar (PISE).
