The Lycée Français Gustave Eiffel de Budapest welcomes children from nursery (from age 3) through to the baccalaureate, offering a French-language education homologated by the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale within the AEFE network present in 130 countries. The 2026-2027 registration campaign is closed. For any questions, contact Mr. The reason to enroll from nursery is that the early years lay the foundations of learning, the language, and confidence, and provide continuity with elementary school while easing the transition to CP. The Eduka platform is used for enrollment, and first registration rights (DPI) and payment modalities are published. For students already enrolled, families will receive a message from the admissions service detailing the renewal calendar and procedures. Scholarships awarded by the French State – campaign 2026/2027: The scholarship campaign for 2026-2027 is open until February 27, 2026. Forms can be downloaded from the French Embassy in Hungary site. Completed and signed applications with all required documents must be submitted by appointment to the Embassy consular section (Fö utca 17, 1011 Budapest) before the deadline. Families may make an appointment with the Scholarships Service at consulat.budapest-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr or book online. Families may also submit directly via the Scolaide platform. Applications can be for new enrollment starting in 2026 or for renewal if the family benefited from scholarships last year. For more information: the Embassy site and AEFE. In addition, the Solidarity Fund information is provided for Hungarian or non-French students: The Solidarity Fund application for academic year 2026-2027 is available on the school site. The Fund is managed by the Foundation of the Lycée Français de Budapest and is open to Hungarian tax residents; the deadline is March 22, 2026. The maximum award is 50% of tuition up to the end of lower secondary (CP to 3ème) and 80% for upper secondary (2nde to Terminale). The scholarship covers tuition only and does not cover optional services (daycare, AES, meals, bus, etc.). The application form asks for family details and supporting documents, and the file must be completed and emailed to gestion@lfgeb.hu. Documents include proof of identity, income, housing details, and other standard materials, with consent for data processing.
