- Returning students: Re-enrollment fee of USD 2,000 is due by the published re-enrollment deadline (documented in the fee policy); other school fees for returning students are due by the published deadline (the fee schedule specifies the May 30 deadline for full payment for returning students for the next year). Failure to pay by published due-dates may result in late fees, interest, withholding of records, or loss of the student's place.
- Semester timing and proration: The school's fee schedule and policy set enrollment/proration rules by quarter for late joiners (examples: proration percentages for late enrollment change by dates during the registration window); the second-semester fees have specific due dates (the policy references a December deadline for second-semester payments). Per the published policy, bus and lunch fees are refunded in full for the quarter(s) not attended in cases of absence.

Installment/payment plans
- AES offers installment/payment plan options for self-paying families; installment plans must be agreed before the student starts school and require income proof. Installment plans incur finance charges at an interest rate of 10% per annum and are available only for tuition (other fees such as lunch, bus, and EAL are not included under installment plans). The initial installment (including finance charge) has a published due date.

Refund and withdrawal policy (high-level)
- Re-enrollment fee: refundable until March 31; after that date it is non-refundable and re-enrollment is subject to space availability.

(The fee policy specifies exact calendar cutoff dates for each refund tier.)
- Students withdrawing for the second semester: refunds are available only if withdrawal is received by the specified November cutoff (50% by the date specified, no refund after the cutoff); newly enrolled students for the second semester have a separate short-term refund window as published in the fee policy. Bus and lunch fees will be refunded in full for the quarter(s) not attended.
- Force majeure: in the event of a force majeure, the Director and Board may take steps (including closing or remote instruction) and the policy states that fees will not be refunded for canceled classes, although the Director may decide on remedial scheduling or other measures.

- Other incidental charges: The published schedule includes items described as “other fees” (application, registration, EAL, lunch, bus).
