International School of Monterrey (ISOM) is a bilingual, secular, inclusive, student-centered institution serving ages 3 to 15, from Kinder to High School. The school offers an Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum in its upper grades, complemented by academies in Mathematics, Sciences, Technologies, and Arts and Cultures, all taught in English. An English Academy focuses on English Language Arts and English as a Foreign Language, while a third language program (French or Japanese) runs after school twice weekly. The Project for Activation of the Intelligences (PAI) engages primary students to develop cognitive, affective and motor skills and multiple intelligences. Facilities include a campus with photo gallery and a 360-degree tour, plus a MakerSpace with 3D printing and laser cutting; spaces for chess, robotics, dance, choir and violin. Sports include soccer and basketball, with inter-school competitions. The community emphasizes service, anti-bullying, and Positive Discipline, alongside cultural and language exploration and a values-driven environment.

Positive Discipline supports student development with self-regulation and reflective practice, and a school-based guidance approach provides ongoing support and feedback to students.
The school has an Inclusive Education Department to support diversity, guiding attention to the needs of all students and developing individualized education plans based on psychological, clinical and pedagogical knowledge. They design and apply strategies that foster development in empathetic, welcoming environments. Curriculum is adapted based on information from specialists; the department coordinates follow-up with external therapists and offers family accompaniment and ongoing support to parents.
The school has a foreign language program in addition to English and Spanish. ISOM offers a third language option, currently French and Japanese, with classes held twice a week outside the regular school day.
The Psychology Department supports student wellbeing and development through Positive Discipline, which promotes self-regulation and motivation. The program includes active group observation, timely reflection and individualized attention, with interventions tailored to students' needs and ongoing follow-up and feedback.
ISOM has an active Anti-bullying Campaign that promotes a healthy, safe school environment and safeguards the safety and integrity of students; the program includes periodic talks, a reporting mailbox, anti-bullying ambassadors, and prevention projects. The Inclusive Education Department also supports safety and inclusion by providing individualized education plans, collaboration with external therapists, classroom adaptations and family accompaniment.
Admissions process: The Public Relations staff are the first contact for families seeking information. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For Maternal, Pre-Kinder, Elementary, and Secondary, the following documents are required: online enrollment for the relevant cycle; original and copy of birth certificate; original and copy of vaccination card; four child-sized photos of the student; two photos of the parents; CURP original and copy; payment of the admission diagnostic fee; present the diagnostic on the indicated date; pass the diagnostic; interview with the parents. From 2nd Pre-Kindergarten to Secondary, the following additional documents are required: report card from the immediately preceding course (original and copy); elementary certificate issued by SEP (original and copy) if applicable; letter of no debt issued by the previous school; letter of good conduct issued by the previous school; all subjects credited; deliver the complete documentation by the stated date. 2025-2026 promotions for new entrants include a 20% discount on tuition and enrollment, with the contribution waived. Enrollment includes school accident insurance. Prepa ISOM costs for 2025 show a promotion of 50% scholarship on monthly tuition and no enrollment fee for the first semester.
