Fees
Application & initial admission fees
- Application (processing) fee: OMR 15 — payable on each application. - Admission fee (payable at time of admission): OMR 10. - Refundable deposits due at admission: Parent refundable deposit OMR 100 (new admission of first child); Child refundable deposit OMR 10 (new admission of each child). Note: OMR 110 refundable deposit is referenced for non-sibling cases.
Tuition fees by year group (Indian nationalities) — amounts shown as Annual / Monthly / Per-quarter
- Billing cadence: Fees are to be paid on a quarterly basis. Quarterly payments must be made by the 15th of the first month of each quarter. A one-month grace period from the due date is allowed. If fees are not paid within the grace period a fine of OMR 1 per month is charged and continues each month until payment is cleared. - Quarterly instalments: where annual tuition is used to calculate instalments, the quarterly amount equals one quarter of the annual tuition. (Examples above show the quarterly instalment for each grade.) - At the time of admission parents must also pay the admission fee and refundable deposit amounts noted above. The school's published guidance includes the processing fee due at application and the refundable deposit amounts due on admission.
Boarding / hostel
- Boarding is not listed in the school's fee schedules. No boarding or hostel fees are published for Indian School Muscat; therefore boarding fees are not applicable. Fees and schedules published by the school list day-school tuition and transport charges where relevant.
Other costs and recurring charges
- Transport: Monthly bus fares are published per route and vary by pick-up area. Examples of published monthly transport fares: OMR 17, OMR 20, OMR 25, OMR 27, OMR 29, OMR 30, OMR 32 depending on route. Transport is charged per child per month and is billed separately from tuition. - Infrastructure / development deposit: a refundable infrastructure development fund / deposit of OMR 100 is included in the initial admission charges for new admissions. This is listed as refundable in the school's admission/fee documentation. - Uniforms and related clothing: the school publishes uniform requirements but does not publish fixed uniform prices. Uniform costs are additional and paid by parents to uniform suppliers; no uniform fee amount is listed in the published fee documents. - Other occasional fees: specific one-off fees for examinations, activity fees, stationery or special programmes are not listed as fixed line-items in the central fee page; such charges (if any) are generally notified separately by the school. The school publishes transport fares and initial refundable deposits as explicit extra costs.
Refund information
- Processing/application fee OMR 15 is non-refundable. Refundable items explicitly published are the refundable parent deposit (OMR 100) and the refundable child deposit (OMR 10). The school's admission notes identify these deposits as refundable and specify how they are applied for non-sibling / sibling cases.
Fee payment options
- Accepted payment methods and channels (published): in-person fee counter (POS), Bank Muscat mobile and online banking, Bank Muscat CDM, ONEIC/Tasdeed portal (which accepts debit/credit cards), Thawani Pay mobile app, National Bank of Oman online/mobile banking, Sohar International Bank mobile banking, Oman Arab Bank mobile banking, Nizwa Bank mobile banking, and the school's online payment portal (epay) which supports debit and credit cards. The school sends fee receipts by email after transactions.
Fine policy & enforcement
- Late payment fine: OMR 1 per month is charged if fees are not paid within the one-month grace period after the due date; the fine continues monthly until payment is made. The school requires fees to be paid up-to-date for students to appear in internal and board examinations and reserves the right to restrict services for unpaid accounts per published rules.
Administrative notes (what the fees summary covers)
- The figures above reflect the school's published admission charges, refundable deposits, published transport fares and the tuition totals by grade as published for the 2025–26 fee schedule. The school's fee pages publish the quarterly billing requirement, the late‑payment fine and the available electronic payment channels.
