International Waldorf School Valencia offers a Waldorf Steiner curriculum for students aged 3 to 16, with authorization by the Generalitat Valenciana and accreditation by NEASC. The school operates as a non-profit initiative through Fundación Waldorf Valencia. It is the only Waldorf-authorised school in Valencia. Extra-curriculars include a summer program with songs, movement, art, nature activities and a vegetable garden; arts and handicrafts, as well as cultural and language activities. The school understands the child in a broad and holistic way and forms complete human beings through an education which develops individuality and fosters critical thinking. It recognises the needs of each developmental stage and follows septennial stages to support development. The teaching team meets weekly to review pupil work and tailor learning to each learner. Education adapts to the child's development in a student‑centred way. Families participate through regular meetings with teachers to monitor intellectual, emotional and social development, strengthening the school–family partnership.
The school has a Specialist & Pedagogical Support department led by a Pedagogical Coordinator and including a Guidance & Pedagogical Support team. It comprises specialists for primary and secondary levels, plus kindergarten support. The team addresses individual pupil needs and provides pedagogical guidance to teachers. Regular collaboration within the team supports a coordinated approach to student development. Regular meetings with families maintain feedback on each pupil's intellectual, emotional and social development.
