SELA: The International Private School offers a specialized immersion environment where students from three months old through sixth grade develop fluency in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. The Hingham campus features an Elementary Facility equipped with a dedicated technology lab for 3D printing and a gross motor lab utilizing the Lu interactive playground system. The curriculum is vertically aligned, meaning each grade builds directly upon the skills of the previous year to ensure steady progress in core subjects like mathematics and science. A distinctive feature of the school is its commitment to global citizenship through active international partnerships; students participate in pen pal programs with peers in Chile and Honduras to apply their language skills in real-world contexts. Additionally, the school integrates a unique performing arts tradition where all students, including infants, engage in music and movement, culminating in a professional-style annual play that fosters public speaking and leadership.

SELA: The International Private School - Hingham Campus teaches Bespoke Curriculum for students aged 0 to 12.
SELA follows a vertically aligned, full immersive curriculum designed for ages infancy through sixth grade. The program emphasizes immersion in three languages: English, Spanish (from Spain), and Mandarin (from China). In Lower School (Junior-K to 2nd grade) and Upper School (3rd to 6th grade), students study core subjects—Math, Science, English, Mandarin, Spanish, and Art—with interactive classrooms and daily projects supported by technology. The curriculum emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking to prepare students as global citizens. A spiral approach revisits and builds key skills across grades to deepen understanding and lifelong learning.
Social-Emotional Learning is integrated into SELA's curriculum; a social-emotional intelligence curriculum and group projects develop students' social-emotional abilities, communication skills, and empathy.
The school teaches in English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Social-emotional development is explicitly supported as students grow older, strengthening social and emotional development through independent and collaborative work.
Health and safety policies exist; there is an Early Global Education nurse; safeguarding procedures include reporting child abuse to authorities such as DCF.
