Billing schedule and payment terms
- First term: the fees for a child's first term are payable by 1 March of the year of entry, or at the time of accepting the offer if acceptance is after that date. For occasional places, first term's fees are payable on acceptance. Once enrolled, fees are payable on or before the first day of each term. Termly invoices show the school's bank account details and fees should be paid by direct bank transfer.
- Monthly instalments: a monthly instalment payment option will be available from September 2026; specific schedules and administrative arrangements are handled by the Head of Admissions. Sibling discounts (from September 2026): two siblings — 5% discount on second child; three or more siblings — 10% discount on second child and 5% adjustment on the third and subsequent siblings.
Boarding
- Broomfield House School is a day school and does not offer boarding; therefore there are no boarding fees.
Other costs and typical additional charges
- Uniform: compulsory uniform items and sports kit are required and are supplied through the school's approved outfitter (Dolphin House). Families should expect separate expenditure for blazers, coats, sports kit, swimming kit and other standard uniform items; prices for uniform items are set by the supplier. A full uniform checklist is published by the school's official supplier.
- School trips, voluntary contributions, occasional paid clubs, individual music lessons and specialist tutoring are additional to tuition and are charged as used or by term; some activities require separate payment to external providers. Notices and invoices itemise any extra paid‑for clubs and activities.
Refunds and withdrawal
- Registration fees are non‑returnable. The acceptance deposit and any advance term fees paid at acceptance are non‑refundable if a place is withdrawn before attendance. The acceptance deposit is refundable to parents when the child leaves Year 6, subject to any outstanding fees being paid. Notices and specific refund practices for other items (for example refunds or notice periods relating to extra‑curricular activities) are set out in the school's admissions and activity terms; some activities have notice periods (typically a half term for clubs and a full term for individual music lessons).
Fee payment methods accepted
- Primary payment method for termly fees: direct bank transfer (bank details appear on each term's invoice). Tax‑free childcare accounts are accepted for nursery/childcare payments and can be used alongside 15 hours funding where applicable. The school accepts most major childcare voucher schemes; families using childcare vouchers should contact the Head of Admissions to confirm arrangements. From September 2026 a monthly instalment option will be available; further details are provided by the Head of Admissions. Specific card payment acceptance is not listed on the termly fees page; invoices include the school bank details for transfers.
